France’s Groupement des Industries Françaises Aéronautiques et Spatiales (GIFAS) and the Society of Indian Defense Manufacturers (SIDM) signed a memorandum of understanding to promote a sustainable framework for present and future partnerships.
This MoU will promote mutually beneficial cooperation in aerospace and defense manufacturing, research & technology, human capital, engineering services, and systems integration.
The cooperation will focus on:
- Development of business opportunities between members of GIFAS and SIDM
- Training and human capital development
- Research and technology
- Aerospace industry policy and business environment
- International trade issues
(GIFAS or the French Aerospace Industries Association, is an industry body that brings together about 400 companies such as prime contractors and system suppliers to SMEs.)
