Austin, Texas-based Epicor Software Corporation, provider of industry-specific enterprise software announced the opening of new office premises for its existing technology center in Bangalore.
CEO Steve Murphy, who inaugurated the center said, “India is an important part of our growth plans—with a solid distribution partnership and the expansion of our technology center in Bangalore, we are in a great position to achieve success in the region.”
The company is on or ahead of its projections for India since its regional customer base has been growing steadily, primarily in the manufacturing sector which has the potential of reaching $1 trillion by 2026. Many manufacturers in India are small to medium size businesses — a size that fits in the Epicor target market.
