Irvine, California-based data storage company, Western Digital, launched two new products in India: hard drives “My passport” and “My Book” both of which include password protection and hardware encryption.
“My passport” is available in 1TB, 2TB and 4TB variants, while “My book” is available in 3TB, 4TB, 6TB and 8TB variants. Both the devices carry a 2-year warranty, reports the Financial Express.
“The devices amplifies our personal connection to data. As the data use is evolving, we focus on the importance of personalizing data solutions,” Khalid Wani, Director-Content Solutions Business of Western Digital, said.
