Fly to Taj Mahal from Overseas

The Times of India reports that India’s biggest tourist destination, Agra, will start getting direct international flights from February 2017. Taj City’s Kheria Airport will commence upgrading after a high-level government meeting on Tuesday. 50 acres land will be required to upgrade the airstrips and terminals, and this will be acquired by the state government for extension of the runway and construction of apron, terminal building and allies facilities to handle domestic as well as international flights.
