A Joint Oversight Group with scientists from National Science Foundation, Department of Atomic Energy and Department of Science and Technology for better coordination of the project will also be formed.

The site for setting up the laboratory in India will be decided by April 10. The project will facilitate scientists and engineers to dig deeper into the realm of gravitational waves and take global leadership in this new astronomical frontier, reports Silicon India News.
