You Tube creators in India are capturing the color, music, humor, and drama of India to become among the top contributors in Asia in driving You Tube video views. To support this community YouTube has partnered with one of Asia’s largest and most renowned film schools, Whistling Woods International, to set up a new YouTube Space in Mumbai, where content creators will have free access to audio, visual, and editing equipment, as well as training program, workshops, and community events. The Mumbai You Tube Space will be the latest addition to the already existing YouTube Spaces in Los Angeles, London, New York City, Tokyo, Sao Paulo, and Berlin.
There is no official launch date for this Space which is nestled in the hills of Mumbai’s Film City but Google said it is “coming soon”, a news report in USA Today said.
