Russ Turner

In his most recent corporate position, Russ was the President of the Honeywell Engines, Systems, and Services business
and the Honeywell Air Transport and Regional business. Before joining Honeywell, Dr. Turner was the president and CEO of United Space Alliance (USA) where he was responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Space Shuttle and elements of the International Space Station, under the Space Flight Operations Contract. Earlier in his career he held senior positions at Rocketdyne and as vice president and general manager of Reusable Space Systems for The Boeing Company in Downey, California. Russ advises Amritt’s clients in the aerospace, defense, and civil aviation business. He leads Amritt’s webinars on ‘Succeeding in India’s Defense Market’.

Gunjan Bagla

Gunjan Bagla is the Managing Director of Amritt and has over 25 years of industry experience in marketing and sourcing.  A mechanical engineering graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology (the IIT) Kanpur in India, Mr. Bagla holds an MBA with honors from Southern Illinois. He has previously held senior positions in large corporations, as well has been an entrepreneur.  He also travels extensively to India and China.

Gunjan Bagla, known as the India Expert, is internationally acclaimed for writing *THE* Book on Doing Business in 21st Century India.Published by Hachette in 2008, the book and Gunjan have been featured in the New York Times, Business Week, Industry Week, Fox Business TV, BBC Television, the Christian Science Monitor, Consulting Magazine, NPR station KCRW Radio and more.

He created the defense workshop on succeeding in India that has attracted attendees from Boeing, Rockwell, Pelican, Parker Aerospace, Curtiss Wright and other top suppliers and has offered India Defence expertise via Caltech and via the Thunderbird School of Global Management. He has presented at international aerospace conferences in Germany, India and the United States.  In the past he took part in the Aerospace Industries Association trade mission to India and in November 2010, he accompanied President Barack H Obama as part of the Presidential Executive Mission to India. Gunjan also leads Amritt’s webinars on ‘Succeeding in India’s Defense Market’.

Rajinder Mohan 

Rajinder Mohan is Amritt’s senior advisor on the Indian Defence Sector.  As an Air Vice Marshal for the Indian Air Force, Rajinder K. Mohan’s final assignment was “Air Officer in charge Logistics” (AOL); the AOL is the top executive responsible for the supply chain of materials and spares. This includes forecasting, provisioning, procurement from global sources, receipt in India, warehousing and storage. The AOL is also responsible for distribution and supply to various field Units spread across the country both during peace and wartime. Mohan served in uniform for 36 years and was decorated with the Vishisht Seva Medal (VSM) for distinguished service of an exceptional order.

Dinesh Lal

Dinesh Lal leads the India operations for Amritt.  Dinesh Lal is a mechanical engineer with bachelor’s and master’s degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has over 30 years industry experience with top Indian engineering companies including Larsen & Toubro as well as leading American companies including Eaton and Kohler. He held leadership positions with each of these companies.  For Kohler, he established their presence in India and built up their operations.
Dinesh leads our India consultants, who provide in-country guidance to Amritt clients visiting India. Amritt’s India business experts can interview executive candidate hires, pre-qualify business potential business partners, perform due diligence on merger and acquisition targets and other perform other top level guidance. Dinesh is based in India and travels to the United States frequently

Indra Shekhar Chaturvedi

Retired Major General Indra Shekhar Chaturvedi’s most recent role was spearheading the acquisitions of weapons and equipment for the Indian Army in the Acquisition Wing of India’s Ministry of Defence. He significantly contributed to the formulation of the policies and procedures for Indian Defence Procurement and in negotiating various aspects of global and domestic defence acquisition schemes. He has also been quoted for his article on India’s defense acquisition system.

His last border posting was as a Brigadier in the Thar Desert of Rajasthan on the Pakistan border where he commanded an artillery brigade of a strike formation in 2002-2003. In a later role, he led manpower planning for the 1.3 million strong all-volunteer Army, including managing hiring targets, cadre managemnt, and manpower development.

General Chaturvedi, is a 1971 graduate of India’s National Defence Academy in Pune.  Later in his career he graduated from the National Defence College in New Delhi from a special course designed to equip top select officers to take on the most senior military leadership roles in India. For his leadership and training skills in the classroom and the field, General Chaturvedi has long been recognized by the All India Management Association.
