A recent survey by UNCTAD (United Nations Conference on Trade and Development) showed that India is the world’s third most attractive destination for investment by transnational corporations (TNCs) during 2013-2015. This survey, which was based on the response of 159 companies, ranked China first and the U.S. second.
Six of the top ten host economies come from developing countries such as Mexico and Thailand.
