In a study of 151 countries measuring the extent to which people live long, happy and sustainable lives for the people that live in them, Costa Rica, Vietnam and Colombia came up at the top and while Qatar, Chad and Botwsana were the least happy.
Brazil was ranked 21, India 34th, China 60th, the United States 104th and Russia 114th happiest.
Other rich countries in the lower half of the happy list include Iceland, Denmark, Belgium,and Luxembourg. Apparently money does not buy you happiness
