Mukesh Ambani is the chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries Limited, the largest private sector enterprise in India. Reliance Industries, which has revenues of over $44 billion in 2010, participates in many oil-related industries; it is the leading producer of polyester yarn and fiber and is among the top five global producers of major petrochemical products. Additionally, Reliance Industries has expanded into other markets by creating subsidiaries focused towards clothing and fresh foods. Ambani is a resident of Mumbai; in 2010, he and his family moved into a 27-story home, reputedly worth almost $1 billion.
