An actress and singer, Miley Cyrus got her first big break on the Disney channel show “Hannah Montana.” This show has launched both her singing and acting careers. Influenced by her famous country singer father, Billy Ray Cyrus, her music had a country music, but as she has gotten older, her music has developed a much more poppy tune.
Miley Cyrus has long been a proud supporter of Hinduism. She has multiple tattoos associated with Indian culture, including the relgious symbol “Om” and the word karma. In 2017, Cyrus hosted a pooja at her house in Malibu, CA, worshipping the Hindu goddess of wealth, Lakshmi.
As of now she has released 9 albums, five of which have been under her stage name Hannah Montana. Since Hannah Montana, she has starred in the Disney cartoon animation Bolt and the romance (based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks), The Last Song with ex-boyfriend Liams Hemsworth. However, while her career as an actress and a singer remains pristine, her personal life is not.
