Bank of Baroda was founded in 1908 and is headquartered in Vadodara, India. It provides banking and financial services to the individual, business, and corporate customers in India and internationally. The company offers a range of deposit products, including fixed, current, and savings accounts. Its loan portfolio comprises retail loans, credit loans, and debit cards; working capital finance, term finance, SME Gold Card, small business, and traders loan; line of credit, bill finance, MIBOR linked finance, sub-PLR finance, bridge loans, advance against shares, loan against rent receivables, term finance, short term corporate loans, project finance, and infrastructure finance; and agriculture and small scale industries loans.

The company also provides collection services, Internet and telephone banking services, ECS, merchant banking, cash management, and pension services. In addition, it offers a range of international banking services, such as NRI services, foreign currency, offshore banking, export and import finance, FCNR loans, and trade finance, as well as domestic and international treasury services. As of February 07, 2009, the company operated a network of 2956 branches in India and internationally.
