According to the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the United States is home to 5,950 plastic surgeons, more than any other country in the world. China ranks Number 3, with about 2000 and India’s number was revised in 2011, to rank it at #8 with 955 plastic surgeons. If you count the number of procedures, the American surgeons are a very busy lot doing 21 person of global plastic surgery. China does 7% and India 3%.
Other countries way up there are Japan, Korea, Brazil and Mexico.
