Doing business in Tripura: It is a state with a population of 3,199,203 and an area of 4,050 square miles. Its capital is Argartala. Tripura is surrounded by the states of Assam and Mizoram and the country of Bangladesh.

Economy

Doing business in Tripura: Rice is the principal crop, followed by oilseed, pulses, potato, and sugarcane. Tea and rubber are the important cash crops of the State. Handicraft, such as hand-woven cotton fabric, wood carvings, and bamboo products, are also important to the economy. Timber such as sal, garjan, teak, and Gamar are found abundantly in the forests of Tripura. Tripura has poor mineral resources, but this state has considerable amount of natural gas.

Transportation and Tourism

The total length of roads in Tripura is 15,551 km. there is about 66 km of railroad lines set up in Tripura. The main airport in Tripura is inside its capital at Argatala. Some places to visit are Clouded Leopard National Park, Sepahijola, Rajbari National Park, Tripura Sundari temple, Jampui Hills, Chaturdasha Temple, and Hwlwighati. Tripura has many festivals; some  are the Neermahal Tourism Festival, Boat Race and Manasa Mangal Festival, Wah Festival, and Folk Cultural Festival.
