Increased preference for branded professional beauty care providers who provide consistent consumer experience is boosting the organized segment, as distinct from the “informal” legacy segment. Pricewaterhouse Coopers estimates that the market will reach $19 billion in 2-3 years.
In order to attract new customers and retain interest levels, fitness service providers are looking beyond plain-vanilla services and adding new service offerings like Pilates, spinning, Zumba and Power Yoga to boost revenues. Nutrition foods, beverages and supplements grew at 10 to 12% annually, according to this report.
