Jet Air may order 60 Boeing jets

Jet Air, India’s largest private sector air  carrier, may buy 50 Boeing 737 MAX and  10 Boeing  777-300ER   at the Paris Air Show.  The company currently has a fleet of 100 aircraft.  The airline started operations in 1993. Starting 2015, Jet Air will take deliveries of 10 on-order Boeing 787s to expand international operations, according to an article in Business Week.

What this means

Boeing, already the most successful American exporter to India, advances its lead further. Several other airlines in India already operate Boeing aircraft, including AirIndia.
